Hi...it's all here... #love

FAQ, Butterfly Books!

Butterfly Books, LLC is owned by Annie MacFarlane who writes as Anne Eliot.

It became a real company with a published book in January 2012. Instead of doing a traditional self-published book, indie author, Anne Eliot formed an LLC in the hopes of having her work brought to school libraries and traditional libraries because most children's buyers won't currently purchase books unless they come from a larger publishing company. Because Anne's books have sub topics such as PTSD, teen depression.

Since so many have asked 'why' to the pseudonym choice of Anne Eliot, the answer is this: There is another writer with the name Anne MacFarlane who is also in the same professional, romance writing organization. What are the chances of two, romance writing Anne MacFarlanes? At the recommendation of a respected agent, and to avoid confusion, the new name Anne Eliot was chosen. (Always take the good advice of respected agents!)

This Anne MacFarlane who writes as Anne Eliot does not know, nor has ever met, and is not related to the other Anne MacFarlane, though I'm certain she must be nice and one day we will probably meet up because we follow each other on twitter!

Anne's only active
website is www.ANNEELOIT.com (two e's)
her only twitter is @yaromance

ANY OTHER social media sites or twitter feeds or Facebook pages that claim the same name are not affiliated with this author.

Representation: Literary agent, Jane Dystel of Dystel & Goderich now handles all questions regarding subsidiary rights. Please direct inquiries regarding foreign translation, film rights and audio book rights availability to her as well.

All US books and bulk orders for the US should be directed to Amazon's Create Space Expanded Distribution.

We have high hopes Libraries and School Libraries will include more indie-published books in their future purchases, and we hope libraries will continue to integrate e-readers and e-reading apps into their current programs.
ARCs/Review copies: We do offer a number of arcs and review copies, but as a small publisher please know the numbers are few due to budget constraints. If you are a teen who has your own budget constraints but also has PTSD, Cerebral Palsy or are recovering from depression, please message me on Goodreads.com about it. I do try to help out in some way with a book or some little swag hug. I really do, but please be patient.
Butterfly Books and Annie have the help and friendship of these amazing people.
